Chef Miguel Gomez Fernandez Combines Signature “Vibe Dining” with Global-Inspired Menu at Seek + Find Coral Gables

Seek + Find, a Coral Gables dining and nightlife destination, has appointed Miguel Gomez Fernandez to executive chef, launching a new menu and introducing brunch choices  for local’s looking for an al fresco meal in the heart of Coral Gables. The new menu serves global favorites to highlight Chef Fernandez’s family recipes and international culinary portfolio.

“In addition to adding an executive chef to the team and a fresh new menu, the eatery’s vibe-dining concept will bring brunch diners to their feet with cool lounge music and scheduled entertainment,” said Kevin Gouchee, co-owner of Seek + Find.

Chef Fernandez was raised in Iquitos, Peru, and will bring a unique twist to the already-dynamic menu. With years of experience, including the Napa Valley Cooking School, San Francisco’s La Mar Cebichería Peruana and Miami’s Pisco y Nazca, Chef Fernandez’s wide-range of talent and creativity have been a staple throughout his entire career and will continue through this new partnership with Seek + Find.

The eatery’s enticing menu includes chef-inspired brunch favorites such as the Tropical Benedict ($14), which infuses rocoto hollandaise, pineapple pico de gallo, poached eggs, pork chicharron and sweet plantain-based cake. Other notable additions include the Churrasco al Caballo ($28) served with fried kale, eggs and spicy mashed potatoes and Fresh Crepes filled with the finest dragon fruit, mango, orange liqueur, strawberry couli, chocolate dulce de leche syrup and vanilla ice cream. For those looking for a boozy brunch, Seek + Find offers Bottomless Mimosas or Sangria for just $18 per person. Prices for the brunch menu range from $10 to $28. (a la carte).

 

In addition, don’t miss some the highlights from the new dinner menu; Ceviche ($14) with leche de tigre, avocado, sweet potatoes, and crispy quinoa, or Grilled Octopus ($18) over mash potato, panca sauce, cherry tomato chalaquita, not to mention for the casual fare a Tropical Burger ($16) made with pork, lamb, grilled pineapple, tropical aioli, and shoestring sweet potato

 

Seek + Find offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Seek and Find is known for  Social Hour on Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., featuring specials on bites, beer, wine, cocktails and spirits (1/2 off all drinks). The restaurant is open Sunday through Wednesday from 11:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11:45 a.m. until close.
