Celebrate Peruvian Independence Day with La Mar by Gaston Acurio – July 26 through August 1

unnamed-10La Mar by Gastón Acurio at Mandarin Oriental, Miami presents a weeklong celebration in honor of Peru’s Independence Day on July 26 through August 1, 2015.  Bring your friends and family to enjoy live music, a Sunday Brunch feast, and an exceptional dinner menu of iconic dishes.

Paella Sunday Brunch 
On Sunday, July 26, from 12pm to 3:30pm, delight in a sumptuous Sunday Brunch featuring a live action Paella station of Arroz con Pato, made with confit duck, black beer, squash, corn cider and cilantro, with traditional Peruvian music played live.
Brunch will also include a display of seafood cebiches, causas, and Peruvian-style sushi rolls at the Cebiche Bar, and the Anticucho Bar will offer hot specialties including grilled anticucho skewers and whole fish.
Guests additionally receive one Peruvian entrée, Chaufa Aeropuerto for the table, unlimited brunch cocktails, and decadent desserts.

Sunday Brunch is offered at USD 85 per person.

Nightly Celebrations 

Each evening from July 26 to August 1, Chef Diego Oka will present festive family-style platters of classic Peruvian cuisine including Piqueo Frio,” with Cebiche MixtoCausa Cangrejo and Seafood Jalea; and Piqueo Caliente,” with Anticucho de CorazonAji de Gallina Empanadas and Yuca with Ocopa Sauce.

 

Independence Day cocktail specials include the cucumber-basil Albahaca Pisco, refreshing Eucalyptus Mule and the Tiki Limeño with spicy-infused pisco, rum, gin, passion fruit, fresh citrus, falernum liqueur and nutmeg.
