AZUL AND EATING HOUSE COLLABORATION DINNER

unnamed-35Mandarin Oriental, Miami celebrates two of the city’s most acclaimed restaurants with a special guest chef collaboration featuring Azul Chef Benjamin Murray and “Chopped” Champion and James Beard Award nominee Giorgio Rapicavoli of Eating House. The exclusive collaboration dinner menu will be available at Azul on Tuesday, June 21 and Wednesday, June 22, 2016.

Fusing Rapicavoli’s whimsical and creative American fare with Murray’s modern techniques and finesse with Asian ingredients, the menu will include six inventive courses plus intriguing gourmet surprises and an optional cocktail pairing. Highlights include Murray’s Corvina with nutty yellow romesco, seasonal Fingerlime, sushi rice and Thai basil, and Rapicavoli’s Duck with black truffle miso, Florida mushrooms and burnt sunchoke. Desserts will include Local Mango “Curd” and Citrus Textures with white chocolate, pink grapefruit and meyer lemon film.

The innovative cocktail lineup includes concoctions prepared with a variety of advanced methods such as the Edible cocktail with sweet sake basil granita, the Japanese cedar Smoked cocktail with duck fat washed whiskey, and gin infused with hibiscus and lavender in the Infused cocktail.unnamed-36

The Azul // Eating House Collab Menu is offered at USD 75 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity and includes six courses by chefs Benjamin Murray and Giorgio Rapicavoli. Themed cocktails and sake pairings are available for USD 30 inclusive of two cocktails or USD 25 for wine.

Azul is located at Mandarin Oriental, Miami, 500 Brickell Key Drive. Dinner is served from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and the special collaboration menu will be available on June 21 and June 22, 2016.
