Launching June 3, Area 31 will host “Hot Summer Nights” every Thursday from 6 pm to 9 pm. Local DJs will spin classics and current favorites as guests grab cocktails and bites and lounge on the outdoor terrace. The Area 31 terrace promises to be one of the only downtown spots with refreshing breezes during the hot Miami season. When the office clock hits 5:59 pm, head to Area 31 for half-priced cocktails and light bites. Ladies will be treated to complimentary cocktails from the “Hot Summer Nights” menu.
Handcrafted cocktails ($5) will include:
- Mandarina (a twist on the traditional caipirinha using mandarin orange infused with Leblon Cachaca)
- Exhale Lemonade (an anitoxidant cocktail with Veev’s Acai Spirit, Absolut, cranberry and organic lemons)
- Espoma (Champagne with a pomegranate and mint crema)
- Pepperita (a twist on the traditional margarita using lightly spiced chili and passion fruit with CORZO tequila)
Bites by Executive Chef John Critchley ($5 – $11) will include:
- Key West Pink Shrimp (marinated in key lime juice, chili peppers and palm sugar)
- Assorted Ceviche (marinated in aji amarillo and passion fruit)
- Smoked Kingfish Croquettes
- Fritto Misto (calamari, rock shrimp and white fish served with lemon and caperberries)
- Chef’s Plate (selection of smoked and cured meats, seafood, country bread, cornichons and mustards)
- Gazpacho (traditional gazpacho made with fresh tomatoes)
