ARC Broward’s Delish 2016

ARC Broward’s 5th Annual Delish will feature Food Network’s Chopped star, Chef Scott Conant as this year’s Honorary Chef Chair. The event, sponsored by PNC Bank, will be emceed by Belkys Nerey of Bite With Belkys. Delish will bring together the best and brightest South Florida based chefs, wine, and spirits in a unique tasting event for over 500 guests at the Gallery of Amazing Things in Dania Beach on April 14th from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Delish has partnered with six South Florida restaurants and executive chefs that will create pop-up versions of their restaurants in the Gallery of Amazing things. Chef Lauren Deshields of Market 17, Chef Michael Colletti of Sunny’s at The Hall on South Beach, Chef Philip Darmon of Hardy Park Bistro, Chef Adrienne Grenier of 3030 Ocean, Chef Toby Joseph of Wild Sea Oyster Bar, Chef Venoy Rogers of Essensia at The Palms Hotel & Spa,  Chef Robyn Almodovar of Palate Party and Chef Odel Arencibia are all working with ARC Broward Culinary Institute students to provide guests with a taste of South Florida. Riverside Market has also joined the event to provide a custom beer garden, in addition to William Hill and New Amsterdam providing the bar for the evening.

“ARC Broward’s Delish 2016 is bringing together some of South Florida’s top chefs to work alongside the next generation of culinary talent from the ARC Broward Culinary Institute,” explains Conant. “I’m honored to serve as this year’s Honorary Chef Chair and look forward to selecting the winning team for Best South Florida Chef 2016.”

Proceeds from Delish will benefit ARC Broward and the ARC Broward Culinary Institute, which provides culinary training and job placement assistance for people with disabilities and life challenges. The ARC Broward Culinary Institute offers a 16-week certificate program that allows students with developmental disabilities and other life challenges the ability to obtain real world, on-the-job training, with all revenues directly supporting job training and placement in the culinary field.
