WGN America’s record-breaking scripted drama, “Outsiders,” debuts an all new episode, Tuesday, April 5 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). On “Mortar,” written by Ryan Farley and directed by Andrew Bernstein, Houghton promises Ledda that he’ll find justice for Breece’s murder. Big Foster continues to hallucinate about Lady Ray. The coal company starts on the road again and Big Foster demands the guns from Asa. Meanwhile, Hasil and Sally Ann’s romantic interlude ends and life takes a turn.
Created and written by award-winning playwright Peter Mattei, who executives produces alongside Peter Tolan (“Rescue Me,” “Analyze This”) and Paul Giamatti (“Billions,” “John Adams,” “Sideways”), “Outsiders” explores an epic battle as the Farrell Clan, a tight-knit family of renegades who have lived atop the rugged Shay Mountain for over two hundred years, their fight to defend their land and their way of life from the town below and anyone who would dare to challenge them.
