Alex Katz is 89 and has been painting, sculpting and making prints since the 1950s. He developed his signature style early on, and his work is easy to identify with its boldly reductive portraits and colourful, desolate landscapes.
Throughout his long career he has collaborated with writers and poets and other artists. Now he has teamed up with H&M on the Fashion Loves Art collection – a range of garments for both ladies and men’s, as well as home décor. The collection will be sold here on HM.com, exclusively in the U.S., and in select Miami stores starting December 1st.
