March 8 – 9, 2019
Science never sleeps! Experience our very first adult Overnight Adventure at Frost Science.
Have you ever wanted to visit the museum at night without any kids around? Now’s your chance at our inaugural adult’s only* Frost Science Overnight Adventure on Friday, March 8, where we will be tackling the Science of Sex. From reproductive practices of some of our favorite animals to sexology in humans, we’ll be diving into the science of sex including attraction, neuroscience, and even germs. Grab a drink, explore the museum and discover how this intimate subject is essential to all living things.
Admire the night sky with our rooftop telescopes** and find out what inspired the stories behind certain constellations. Let your animal magnetism take over and have an encounter with one of our amazing creatures to find out what it takes for them to reproduce. Hear from an expert in the field of sexology before exploring the science of attraction with special guest speakers. Visit one of our hands-on activity tables to find out the science behind a kiss, germs and all, the role that smell plays in attraction, the neurochemistry of love, and more.
Your night won’t be complete without an exclusive Bruno Mars Laser show in our Frost Planetarium and before showing off your moves on our interactive dance floor at the after party with a live DJ. When the party’s over, slide your way into a restful sleep for your hard-working mind before taking on the weekend.
