2-1-1 Broward hosted a Club 2-1-1 Connecting Event and Signature Grand Ghoul “Thank You” Reception

2-1-1 Broward hosted a Club 2-1-1connecting event and “Thank You” reception for the Signature Grand Ghoul atSignature Grand in Davie on Tuesday, November 10th. The Florida Power & Light (FPL) Club 2-1-1 event was chaired by Club 2-1-1 member Anthony Russo, Esq. of Russo Battista Law Firm.

Guests spent the evening networking while enjoying passed appetizers. To celebrate the success of the 14th Annual Signature Grand Ghoul that took place on October 26th, 2-1-1 Broward thanked event donors and sponsors with commemorative plaques. Sheila Smith, President & CEO of 2-1-1 Broward, thanked everyone for attending and spoke about the amazing work and services that 2-1-1 Broward provides for our community.Ben Wesley, External Affairs Manager at FPL, was granted a plaque of appreciation to thank FPL for being the title sponsor of Club 2-1-1 this year. Executive Chef at Signature Grand, David DeLeon, thanked guests for attending the 14th Annual Signature Grand Ghoul and thanked 2-1-1 Broward for all their great work in the community. Later in the evening, Darlene Eddy, Manager of Hoffman’s Chocolates Hollywood store, won the raffle and was awarded a Club 2-1-1 membership and prize package donated by Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Club 2-1-1 was created to expand 2-1-1 Broward’s mission of “connecting” by offering exclusive networking opportunities for local professionals and individuals to meet at different venues throughout Broward County. While connecting to others, Club 2-1-1 members also get acquainted with the work of 2-1-1 Broward and the ways in which the organization serves them and the entire communityClub 2-1-1 also offers members an online source for marketing their business or interest to 2-1-1 Broward’s extensive list of email and social media subscribers

Money raised through each membership, $211 per year, is used to help support the general operations of 2-1-1 Broward, the community’s only 24/7 comprehensive helpline for individuals in our community seeking crisis intervention assistance, emotional support, information and referrals to health and human services in Broward County. In addition to connecting with a unique group of professionals at each event, Club 2-1-1 is a great way for individuals to learn more about this valuable resource and how it can assist their employees, families and friends.
